As a member of the Lincolnshire Teaching School Alliance, Queen Elizabeth's High School will be offering initial teacher training places for the academic year 2015-16. LTSA is a School-Centred Initial Teacher Training Provider (SCITT) and supports both School Direct and Provider-led training places.
Whilst formal training is provided by LTSA and the University of Lincoln, trainees spend much of their time in school learning from classroom based practitioners. LTSA will award Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the University of Lincoln will award the Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) on successful completion of the course.
Each year a significant number of graduates are recruited in a wide-range of subjects. For September 2015 LTSA is looking to recruit trainees in the subjects shown. Some of these will be offered at Queen Elizabeth's High School.
